"Stereo World" is a song by Feeder, released as the group's first single in 1996. It was taken from the ''Swim'' mini-album. It also appears on the later released LP debut ''Polythene'' of 1997. it is believed that the song is about escapism. It was Korn's "Single of The Month" as guest reviewers in Metal Hammer magazine.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Music magazine information archive )〕 ==Music video== The track's video (and Feeder's first ever music video) was directed by Toby Duckett, and features the band performing in a cramped freight elevator with the band logo on the wall above them, whilst sights such as fans at a concert and giant fish flash past the window. During the chorus frontman Grant Nicholas is shown moving around a field whilst lip-syncing to the track. Several orange items of clothing are worn by the band members throughout the video, including all three members being dressed in orange jumpsuits at one point, a trademark of the band during their early years. The video features future XFM DJ Marsha, who appears in the lift shaft.
